From Bill’s son Bruce:

“It’s with respect and much sadness to say my 98 year old dad “Bill” passed away this afternoon after becoming ill 2 weeks ago. He put in a strong fight but couldn’t beat the odds this time. He will be missed but not forgotten. His favourite saying the past week was “day and night you pass me by but in the end I’ll get you”
He was joking and relaxed right to the end. Farewell and love to you always.”
