Vale David Arthur Everitt –Davis 1977.

I am the former wife of Anare Club member David Arthur Everitt (Davis 1977). I regret to inform you that David passed away suddenly on the 3rd Feb 2014 in the UK due to a heart attack resulting from other complications. David leaves behind three children, Clare, Gabrielle and David and a grandson Oliver. He was buried in his home town of Leicester on the 13 th. Feb. The day following my children’s and my arrival in the UK, we were staying in David’s house when an ANARE magazine popped through the letterbox. It reminded us that his passion for Antarctica persisted all his life after he was able to fulfil his dream of wintering there in 1977. It was indeed a highlight of his life.
