The ANARE Club were advised that Jim Haggart passed away on 5 January 2013.
Jim went on two summer Antarctic trips in 1983 and 1984 as a metallurgist
and he was the Social Secretary of the Club from 1983 to 1994.
A memorial service was held on
Wednesday January 16th 2.30pm at W. D. Rose Chapel, 139 Marriage Road, Brighton. Vic
He was a member of the Melbourne Cricket Club and a tour guide for visitors to the famous site
