I wish to advise that @ approx. 3.00pm today 19 October our very dear friend & fellow expeditioner Mike Heap quietly passed away. He will be sadly missed.

For many years Mike contributed to the ANARE Club by donating an accommodation package at his Coolum apartments in Queensland. This was raffled each year at the National Midwinter dinner held in Melbourne and produced signficant funds into the club.
